In January 2008 film director John Sayles released his latest movie  “Honeydripper” staring Danny Glover and Stacey Keach, also, featuring Keb’ Mo’, Eddie Shaw and Arthur Lee Williams.

Mike has the dubious distinction of performing on the supporting soundtrack, in fact, he plays the very first cue as opening credits role over the first images setting the mood for the story to follow……”yes, that’s my diatonic harmonica part accompanied by ceramic jug and Mason himself pounding on his own chest providing percussion effects.”

Sharon Robinson’s re-titled “Everybody Knows” is the debut album from Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer Sharon Robinson. The set, which will be released in June 2008, contains five new songs and five previously written tracks, including three songs co-written with Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame inductee Leonard Cohen.  Mike plays on the selection “ The Train ”.
